Kerio Technologies announced today the release of Kerio Connect 8.2, a messaging and collaboration server that provides email, contacts and calendar management for more than 60,000 organizations worldwide.
Customers will see changes in three key areas. Kerio Connect 8.2 adds DKIM to its multi-tiered email security arsenal, dramatically improving email deliverability of messages. Users have the ability to start instant messaging group chats, further improving collaboration within distributed work teams. Administrators can customize password policy for local directory, making it easier for organizations in regulated industries to meet compliance requirements.
Other new features include:
- Improved CalDAV support, including faster lookup for calendar updates and support for shared calendars.
- Delegation permission, extending rights to others to send, receive and accept emails, and calendar invitations.
- Improved functionality for tablet use, including the option to hide the folder tree to increase screen space.

With deployment options for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and VMware, Kerio Connect 8.2 is ready to run in virtually any on-premises or private cloud customer environment. On-premises Kerio Connect starts at USD$465 for five users, Cloud-hosted Kerio Connect is available from Kerio partners worldwide.
