LanSchool Technologies LLC, a leading provider of classroom management software, is proud to announce that LanSchool v7.0 was recognized as a finalist for the 2008 CODiE Awards in the Best Course/Classroom Management Solution category.

Established in 1986, the Codie Awards celebrate outstanding achievement and vision in the software, digital information and education technology industries. Over 250 judges from the trade press, consulting, educators, IT specialists and other knowledgeable, but neutral, experts have reviewed all of the products entered. The Finalists were chosen from more than 1,000 nominations submitted by more than 600 companies.

“Competition is tough this year and that makes selection as a Codie Finalist a real achievement,” said Ken Wash, SIIA president. “All the companies on this year’s list should feel justifiably proud of their recognition.”
Dana Doggett, founder and president of LanSchool said, “This has been an amazing year for LanSchool. Late last year LanSchool v7.0 was recognized as a T&L Award Winner and now as a CODiE finalist. We couldn’t ask for anything more!”

Ben Cahoon, vice president of LanSchool added, “Both techs and teachers want a classroom management solution that works as advertised. Building software that actually delivers on simplicity and ease-of-use is harder than it looks. We’re thrilled to be recognized by SIIA and hope that LanSchool v7.0 can make a significant difference to real teachers in real classrooms across the world.”

LanSchool v7.0 educational pricing starts at USD$299 for classrooms with less than 10 computers and USD$599 for all other classrooms. Competitive upgrades, K-12 school site licenses and volume discounts are also available.
